The Battery Fun Club is an on-campus afterschool club designed for Primary School students.
The learnings and activities are age appropriate and related to such things as renewable energy generation, batteries and exciting, yet safe, uses of electrical energy.
Each week the kids will do fun hands-on activities building interesting energy devices while learning the basic science involved! For example, making a simple battery powered electrical motor.
Keep an eye out for more details as they develop. This website will be updated regularly, especially whenever additional information becomes available on the relaxing of COVID restrictions and/or changes to AICS policies related to on-campus afterschool clubs. Our aim is for this afterschool club to commence the beginning of Term 1.
